Very happy with my purchase! Being left-handed, the reversed cylinder swing is very handy. I wish this option was available on more revolvers. A feature that I hadn't thought about when I bought it but really like is how incredibly light it is. It is an absolute joy to carry. Almost like it isn't there. Very welcome on light clothing days that we have so many of in the summer in this part of Texas. I highly recommend. I put the smaller wooden grips on. Makes it more compact, plus I like the old-school look.

First gun purchased on...
First gun purchased on Buds and 1st one overall. FFL transfer was easy and shipped in timely manner. At the range I had to get used to holding with left and loading with right hand... lol Ate the regular FMJ ammo with very good accuracy out of the box. Fired some Hornady self defense and all I can say is "Spicy!" Might need some break in time I think for cylinder to be easier to unlock and load. Also, Speed-beez loader was a little tight but will get better with use/practice. Southpaws unite!

The handgun is...
The handgun is somewhat crude…the laser engraving is coarse, the cylinder wiggles side to side slightly. It's an inexpensive revolver. That said, NOBODY else makes a lefty friendly revolver. That alone gets 5 stars. Plus, it seems to lock up well, and has a decent trigger.

Q: I am looking for this revolver to purchase. Does anyone know of anyone that has this for sale?

A: David, unfortunately not finding this in stock anywhere. Your best option to find one is first click on notify me when available and buds will email you when they receive a shipment of these in. If you don't feel like waiting you might find one on a website called gunbr0ker, they're a site that allows private owners and small shops to sell their products so they usually have rare and hard to find firearms and accessories. Hope this helps and good luck.

A: David, I would check on large gun and accessory sites like (6)un (8)roker and Guns International as discontinued and hard to find firearms and accessories show up for sale by private individuals and small shops. Just replace (6) & (8) with G & B. --------------- Another excellent firearms website for searching is ------ gunsinternational.com/ -- Cheers and stay safe!

Q: Can't seem to find anywhere if this is able to run +P ammo, please help!
Author: Mark B.
(3) ANSWERS
A: Hi Mark, from the Charter Arms FAQ page - Can I shoot +P in my .38 revolver? Charter .38's are among the smallest revolvers in this caliber. Yes they can handle +P but we do not recommend it for the following reasons: +P ammo requires a four-inch minimum barrel to burn the extra powder. Therefore, in a two-inch barrel the extra powder is burned after the bullet leaves the barrel creating more recoil and making it harder to come back to target. We recommend a standard velocity load and practice with round nose lead rounds which are the least expensive. When you load for protection, use a jacketed or hollow point in the same grain you practice with. . Stay safe & have a great day!

A: Hi Mark and welcome. Yes, but not recommended as a steady diet. https://charterfirearms.com/pages/faqs#:~:text=Yes%20they%20can%20handle%20%2BP,to%20come%20back%20to%20target. --------- Just as info : In this short a barrel you will not see a big improvement in velocity. +P loads need at least 4 inches of barrel to burn all the powder. You will not get the stated box velocity difference between standard and +P ammunition. You are only going to get higher recoil and muzzle blast and degraded time in follow up shot speed. Cheers and stay safe!
