Solid light - fits...
Solid light - fits great on my Shadow Systems CR920X. I also noticed that a lot of holster companies support this light so it seems like a good bet for most cases on a sub compact.

This is my third...
This is my third TLR-7. They are excellent. The two older ones are still functional. This one was for a new handgun. The brightness is ideal. It is enough to illuminate beyond the effective range of the Sig P360 XMacro on which I have it mounted. It is not a blindingly bright light that one would use to blind an opponent. On the flip side, have you ever pointed a 1000 lumen light at a white door in total darkness? It blinds you and you have a blue rectangle in your field of view for 5 minutes! The TLR-7 is a good balance. The battery has a good life too. I keep several of the rechargeable CR123s around for all my TLR-7s and other stuff. It's handy that the battery compartment is accessed behind the bulb like an old fashioned flashlight. I have other lights I like for particular applications, but you have to remove them from the rail to change the battery. I would not want to change a battery under fire, but it seems more realistic with a TLR-7 than other lights, The button is an intuitive location.
