Q: Trying to wrap my head around this. How is this legal, PICA states no threaded barrel. I can't find where it says threads are OK as long as nothing attached. Chicago don't mention threads but state wide does. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

A: Hi Dave, this is not Illinois compliant because of the threaded barrel. The other answers stating it is legal are incorrect. A semi-auto pistol cannot have a threaded barrel. Stay safe & have a great day!
