I purchased this...
I purchased this firearm based on a friend's enthusiasm and other reviews. The pistol seems well made but does not take down like a traditional 1911. When I got the pistol, I took it to the indoor range and found out that it was shooting about 2-3" low at 20 feet. That's when I discovered that the rear sight can be adjusted for windage but not elevation. The pistol came with 5 different front sights at various heights. And both the front and rear sights are made of plastic. The front sight has the tiniest set screw and accompanying Allan wrench I've ever seen and trying to make a front sight change is better done on your work bench at home rather than a coffee table or bench at the range due to the tiny set screw and wrench. So far I have changed the sights 4 times and I'm still not hitting the center of the target at 20'. The last change I made resulted in 1-2" above the target at 20'! This gun was a bargain at around $325 but since I'm not hitting what I aim at and the front sights are a challenge to change anywhere but home, I probably would not buy this gun again. On the other hand, my S&W Victory .22 and my Ruger Mk IV .22 are true tack drivers.
