The Turks are making...
The Turks are making better 1911's than Colt nowadays. This is a prime example. This is a fraction of the cost of the Colt variant, and shoots anything I put in it in terms of FMJ ammo. Finish is excellent and the barrell is forged. I don't know how Tisas sells them so cheap. Great 1911 and service from Buds.

look great,n shoots great,ran 10 8rd mecgar mags though it,n not a flaw ,wuts so ever,only trouble i had was the transfer at rays guns,put me on delay for a friggin week,thats not the nics doin that,im a retired ffl n class 3 titel 2 also,but great deal from buds,n say high to hicok 45 for me,

Q: I see the 9mm version says m45a1 for the model name and shows raider stamped on the right side, but this one doesn't mention m45A1 or raider and doesn't show that view of the pistol to confirm. Is this essentially the same thing just in 45 caliber?

Q: Has anyone had any issues fitting aftermarket parts, i.e. trigger, hammer, grips, etc? I will definitely be changing the trigger to a short one and also probably the grips to slim ones. Depending upon how good the trigger-pull is I may want to change fire-control parts. I know it's supposed to have Series 70 internals, but I bought another Turkish made gun (NOT a Tisas) that was supposed to be "100% compatible" with parts for the OEM model it was a copy of, and it was not.
