I shot the gun a few...
I shot the gun a few times and then the hammer got stuck after 21 rounds of ammo. so I had to take apart the gun in order to remove the 3 remaining cartridges because it wasn't safe to leave them in. I would like to rate 5 stars for the bullets I shot but I'm really disappointed because of the amount of money I spent on what I thought to be reliable handgun seems to be wasted. I'll definitely stick to something modern from now on.

I am a big fan of the 1860 and when I saw this I just had to have it in..especially in my favorite caliber of 45 LC...what a nice edition to my small collection...Bud's was flawless as they were on other purchases...a super firearm from Buds!

This is a beautiful...
This is a beautiful revolver. Many shooters and gun enthusiasts are of the opinion that it is possibly one of the best-looking revolvers ever made. The fit and finish was outstanding. I would have given it 5 stars, but my revolver had problems with it jamming when firing. It seemed to get better after I fired it more but hopefully it needs to be broken in and the problem will resolve itself. The revolver was accurate with really good groups at 25 yards. Hopefully with time it will overcome the rough start, or I will have to work on it to make it run smooth. I still recommend this revolver though.

A: This will work with any 45 long colt ammo. As Randy said the lighter velocity cowboy loads would be fine for target practice. For self defense I love gold dot in any caliber but for 45lc gold dot 250gr 775fps, it's a little slower round but it's been proven to be very effective. Hope this helps.
