This is an excellent...
This is an excellent Cimarron .357 revolver. I bought the compact version to carry while walking my dogs every day in the country. It is a little heavy for a carry gun, but I have insurance if I run up on a rattlesnake. I am glad I bought it from Bud's Guns.

Just picked mine up...
Just picked mine up yesterday from my FFL. 12/5/19\\r\ Four clicks, Pinned firing pin, made by Pietta. Box doesnt have a build date. I own a couple of Piettas. I own a Taylor & Co and a couple of Remington 1858s. Also have some Uberti SAA clones. This pistol is tight no rattle. The birds head grip is darker than the one pictured. I was planning on replacing them but I like them. They completely fill my hand. I was worrying the grip would be small. They are wide grips for the size.\\r\ The hammer has a lighter pull almost like it has the tuned springs. My other pistols are twice as hard to cock the hammer.\\r\ Ive owned and shot a lot of SAA pistols. This is my first Cimarron and its really nice. The case coloring technique they use is nice and its a deep bluing of the other parts. Almost everyone tells buyers to call with a UPC code to figure out what features these pistols have. Its a hopeless gesture. These gun companies should put the info in the description. I know I would have bought more in the past knowing exactly Im buying.\\r\ I havent shot this yet but it sure does feel like a nice pistol. Im a big guy 6'2 big hands and it fills them. I prefer the Piettas over Uberti. They seem to be pulling away from Uberti in the quality department.
