A: Hi Scott and welcome. Yes Sir, a .357 Magnum Revolver can for the shorter, less powerful .38 Special no issue. Cheers and stay safe!
Author: James G.
A: Absolutely can shoot 38 sp through any revolver chambered for .357. You will want to clean it good if you feed it a steady diet of .38 sp though. The shorter round will get those cylinders dirtier quicker than the .357's

A: Hi Jackie, the cylinder swings open. To load, push forward on the cylinder release on the left side of the frame, while simultaneously pushing on the right side of the cylinder so that the cylinder swings open. Insert the cartridges in the cylinder. Then gently but firmly close the cylinder until it latches. Stay safe & have a great day!

Q: I'm curious if 38,s can be fired as well as the 357 Ammo?
Author: Robert C.
(3) ANSWERS
A: Hi Robert, yes sir, this will fire both .357 and .38 special. Stay safe & have a great day!
Author: Ed C.
A: yes the less powerful 38 special can be shot in the 357 just watch for a carbon buildup/ring in the cylinder after lots of 38 specials. this ring can make it difficult to insert 375 ammo regular cleaning of the cylinder will stop/correct this issue
Author: Randy I.
A: Hi Robert and welcome. Yes Sir. Any .357 Magnum revolver can fir the shorter less powerful .38 Special and .38 Special +P ammunition no issue. Tidbit: if shooting a fair amount of .38 Special, a carbon ring will build up at the end of the cylinder due to the shorter case and then the longer .357 Magnum cases will begin to stick when inserting/ejecting. Just ream the cylinders with a bore brush after shooting .38 Special if you plan on shooting .357 Mag in the same session. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
