Great little gun very...
Great little gun very accurate did not know it came with a threaded barrel, screwed on a Surefire Pro-comp muzzle brake barely kicks. Bud's was great as usual. Nice and light weight. shoots very well. Mine shot the best with Rem accu-point 140 grn ammo after trying two other brands, Hornady, Federal in 139grn. I did take off the scope mount and bought the other CVA scope mount fit my scope rings better. very satisfied with my purchase from Bud's.

Q: Does this "compact" really weigh 9 pounds? If so, that seems to defeat the purpose of having a compact rifle in my mind.

A: Yes, the compact rifle weighs around 9 pounds. If you use this gun for hunting it's going to get heavy real fast. Trust me, I am an animal trapper and one of my rifles weighs 9 pounds...making it a pain to carry around! But the 9-pound rifle weight will only matter if you are carrying it for a long distance. Also, remember that a heavier rifle will be easier to aim, and will absorb recoil much better.
