I bought this shotgun...
I bought this shotgun as a gift for my son. After firing it several times on initial outing I regret not having bought two. The fit is very good but the finish is a bit rough. The coating for marine use makes it easy to clean and the stock does buffer the kick some. It is still the mule style kick in the shoulder from a 12 gauge. I love it and will purchase one for myself. My son loves it and doesn't want me to "test" fire it any more for fear I will keep it!... As for buds guns I couldn't say any more positive about the experience. They are awesome in both customer service and response time to ship products. I will buy again and again..

A: its a fixed modified choke and slugs are 100% safe in this barrel for best accuracy use rifled slugs not sabot slugs (sabots are made for Rifled barrels)

A: Joshua, - As this gun has a modified choke (fixed choke - not removable) you will be fine with shooting rifle slugs. I've had some pretty good results shooting slugs in a modified choke barrel. Of course you'd want to take it to the range and shoot a few before hunting season, just to make sure you know how yoru particular gun shoots.

A: Oscar, Interchangeable stock will cost as much as the shotgun but you can do it. Hatsan/Escort/Legacy makes 2 models of folding stock for these pump models.

It utilizes a black synthetic stock, push button safety, and a single trigger.This model has a sliver receiver/barrel finish with a black stock and barrel. A: Billy, This shotguns receiver and barrel finish is blued with an embellished thin nickel finish. It will chip off with hard use, but is fairly weather resistant.
