A: 1- 7 round and 2- 8 round which have a grip extension. This is as advertised for the model number by Smith & Wesson. This is also a fun shooter. I own one, without the tritium night sights and I enjoy it. Happy shooting!

A: The smith and Wesson M&P shield comes with two magazine when new. it either comes with a six and seven round version that both fit flush with the grip or it also has an option of coming with a seven round and an eight round that has a grip extension. as far as the buds number, you gave I would say since it has 3 mags it would come with 2 seven rounds mags and one eight round with a grip extension,
