The Girsan MC9 Match Far Dot is a striker-fired 9mm optics pistol built for a fast, consistent draw and a tight, repeatable shooting experience. This Match configuration comes from the factory with EAAs Patent Pending Fast Acquisition Red DOT (FAR-DOT) so you get a fast-on target setup without buying or matching an optic plate. Ergonomics are handled with 3 interchangeable backstraps and a slim polymer grip feel for improved control across different hand sizes.

Surprisingly nice...
Surprisingly nice pistol for the price. Trigger has a very short takeup and very crisp break, you can get used to it very quick. Red dot isnt a Burris or anything but it definitely works and holds zero. Im doing this review after having this pistol for bout a year now, thousands of rounds ran through it ZERO FAILURES! I do recommend.

I read the review of this pistol in a magazine, and the price was very reasonable, so I bought it, just to try it out. Trigger is nice, has a pin in the back of the slide that lets you know it is FIRE ready. The reduced weight cuts on the slide and the weight on the mag well are good for balance and reduced the muzzle flip. The only reason I am giving this one a 4 of 5 is the red dot sight that came with mine, was the biggest piece of junk I ever seen. THANKFULLY the footprint on the slide is the same as a Sig Romeo Zero red dot, so the one that come with the pistol went straight into the trash and I bought a Romeo Zero and put it on. It will put a hole thru a hole at 30 feet with little effort. Nice gun, great price ... just change out the red dot to something better than the factory one.
