This rifle is a basic entry rifle that lacks Quality considerations. Example, upon receipt I notice the following flaws. 1. Stock quality is a cheap synthetic that is hollowed out at in the forearm preventing additional accessories from being added. Numerous mold seems exist throughout the stock. No adjustments to the cheek pad can be made. 2. Manual states the M.O.A. Trigger can be adjusted. However, the Alan head adjustment screw heads are filled with epoxy from the manufacturer preventing any subsequents adjustments. Trigger was verified to be set from the factory at 4 pounds. 3. No torque values are given for action screws in the manual which can lead to over torquing and damage to the synthetic stock. 4. Rifle is tapped and threaded for scope base's however, no screws or information were provided relating to thread pitch rates and size. 5. Manual is very basic and doesn't even list rifle specifications such as barrel twist rates, trigger weight, available mounting accessories etc. Caution: This particular rifle has a recall listed for the safety mechanism; recommend you contact Winchester to verify your serial number is not affected. Overall impression is it's of cheap entry level materials, and poor quality 6. On a positive note it does come with a threaded barrel for adding a muzzle break or suppressor.
