I bought this pistol...
I bought this pistol on a recommendation from a friend. It took only 5 days from the time I ordered it until it was in my hand. Buds shipped it to my FFL promptly. I unboxed it, field stripped it, oiled it per owners manual then took it to the range. I ran 400 rounds thru it, I was assuming it needed a break in period. I am/was very impressed. It ran with zero issues, with every type of ammo I sent thru it. The pistol seemed heavy, but its recoil was a straight back type, no real muzzle flip. It comes with a real nice case and two magazines, a 7 round and 8 round. It was very accurate at 10, 20 and 30 yards. From a machinist stand point, it is very well made. My only criticism, the recoil spring will jump out at you upon disassembly. That spring is not a self contained unit like most Stryker fired pistols, that being said, that issue is no deal breaker. I am planning on carrying it in my Urban Carry holster, and will likely get another 8 round magazine. Mine has a manual safety, I got that feature because my wife also carries and she likes the idea of a safety. She might decide to carry it. All in all, its an easy 5 star rating. I would recommend this pistol to anyone who wants budget friendly protection. I also would recommend BUDS GUN SHOP, great prices and prompt delivery!

I am pleased with the...
I am pleased with the craftsmanship and the firearm in general. However, there is little to no support from the Savage Arms company. I have reached out to them numerous times to purchase extra magazines. No help from them. AND their website does not list magazines for this gun. I have searched the internet and many many many gun / ammo sites to no avail for magazines for the Savage Stance. If you like to have extra magazines while at the range, this IS NOT the gun for you. Find a gun that you can order extra magazines.

Nice gun for $225...
Nice gun for $225 after rebate. I'm already shooting it more accurately than my kahr pm9 and ruger lc9s but that stance is also allot heavier.
