Really nice size. The barrel contour is great, I shot this on a 60ish degree day and the barrel never got more than warm. Easy to maneuver, bolt is smooth. Mine shot the 180 grain Winchester better than the American whitetail but both were pretty good. When I got mine there was a rebate that made this one of the most affordable rifles on the site. It was barely more than the axis series and this one is much nicer.

Tack Driver! My only...
Tack Driver! My only complaint would be that the weaver style bases are spread out so far that scopes with short scope tubes might not fit unless you buy a one piece mount (like dnz) and remove the weaver style bases / rail. I actually bought a vortex 3x9x50 and had to swap it out with an sig 4-12x50 because the mounts were so far apart that my vortex wouldn't fit. After I sorted that minor issue and and got the one piece mount , I can't say enough about how the gun shoots. It's amazingly accurate and dropped this nice 8 pt where it stood my first weekend out with the rifle! I have other savage 110s , so I expected nothing less.

solid rifle. Magazine a little rough to load and insert into rifle. Feeds a little stiff but will probably smooth out over time. A solid 3 stars. For the price, a good buy.
