Product Overview
The Del-Ton Sierra 316L is a 5.56 NATO AR-15-style rifle built with a 16-inch light profile barrel, 1:9 twist, and an A2 flash hider on a threaded muzzle. The upper and lower are forged 7075 T6 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish, paired with a 15-inch split Picatinny top rail MLOK free-float handguard for stable support and easy accessory mounting. Chambered for 5.56 NATO, it’s configured for reliable semi-automatic operation with mil-spec components and phosphate-treated parts.

Dug through the...
Dug through the numerous and detailed reviews of various AR platforms in consideration for my first purchase. Decided to go with this rifle based on a number of factors and features as well as overall performance from a number of sources showing that it was a decent weapon for the MSRP at most local gun shops. With a price drop the purchase was a no brainer. Now with 300 rounds of mixed .223 and 5.56 through the rifle using some bad iron sights I got to say I'm impressed and zero regrets for my purchase. Definitely a great beginner platform to tweak and learn on for a low buy in but seems to be a reliable range toy as well as capable home defense weapon.
