Full disclosure... I'm a bit of a Sig Sauer fan boy. However I looked at all brands before deciding to purchase this firearm as my first 1911 platform. For the money the Tacops 1911 seemed to provide the best value within the 10mm 1911 mid-priced products. Upon receiving the firearm I was glad to see it's exactly as pictured on Buds website. The fit and finish was quality, and what I've become accustomed to when buying Sig Sauer firearms. I picked this firearm up as a lower 48 (bear county) sidearm, so reliability was important to me. I've only been to the range once so far and fired 190 rounds. I had 1 FTF using Sellier Bellot 180 grain FMJ, and it happen on the second magazine. I shot 40 165gr Gold Dot Underwood ammo with no issues. I'm happy with the purchase and have no regrets. Looking forward to putting more rounds through the firearm, and carrying it on the trail later this year.

Q: Description says amby grip safety and pic shows only gun pointing left with an ambi thumb safety. Does this have ambi thumb safety on both sides. I am lefty and need thumb safety on right
