It is a good value for...

It is a good value for the money (I didn't pay thousands of dollars for it, more like a few hundred), with most of the features you would want on a 1911. Fit and finish are good, not quite as good as my Sigs, but it was hundreds less. The trigger is good, not great, but good enough I haven't felt the need to have it worked on. I upgrade the front sight to fiber optics, grips to green micarta and the plastic mainspring housing (MSH) to a steel MSH. None were needed, just what I wanted on the handgun. It is at least as accurate as I am, probably more. The weight of a full sized 1911 makes the 38 Super recoil mild. The magazines that came with it needed to be replaced shortly after I got the gun, as they started to malfunction. New mags and the feed issues went away.

Love this gun. I have put over 1000 rounds through it with no hiccups. Extremely accurate. Very little recoil/muzzle flip. Great gun for IDPA.

Great gun for almost...

Great gun for almost half the price of a similar pistol. Fit and finish is as good or maybe a bit better on the fit than my Kimber. Unlike the other review both mags worked excellent and never failed to lock the slide after the last shot. No issues at all after taking it shooting where some 1911s eject funny or stove pipe and this one cycled perfectly and tossed the brass into the same area 8 feet back and to the right. Seems to be accurate as well. If I had to pick something to complain about it would be that the grips are not the best but I replace them on all 1911s anyways and the trigger is a little heavier than I am use to so maybe get a trigger job if it doesn't lighten up after a few hundred more rounds.
