I bought this rifle...
I bought this rifle for my 8 year old as his Christmas present. In addition, I also bought the Cricket 4X scope. This is a beautiful little rifle and even felt good to me with my small 5' 6" frame. Then I attempted to sight it in. It spread shots all over the place. 5" groups at 10 yards. OK, I can fix this. Removed the scope and all screws. Lock tight and proper torque on rifle, mount and scope. No improvement. WHAT? Long story short. After 2 different scopes and 3 different brands of ammo. cleaned it twice. I never got the rifle to shoot a group less than 3" at 10 yards. This is supposed to be a Target rifle ! I am not a novice and I can shoot less than MOA at 100 yards with all of my other rifles. I loved this little rifle and wish it had shot decent. unfortunately, My Grandson never got to see it. I guess as with everything, You can get a lemon. Hopefully the others do better.
