I bought a Taurus TX22...
I bought a Taurus TX22 from Bud's and the rear sight was defective when I received it. The rear adjustment screw (elevation) was loose and very easy to turn. When I took it to the range, the elevation would not stay in place. After I shot about 50 rounds, it got to where it would move about every 5 rounds. I contacted Bud's but they said that I have to work with Taurus through a warranty claim (even thought it was defective when I received it from Bud's). The Taurus person that I got on the phone was very nice but can only enter the gun into their warranty program (and take care of the sight issue) if I provide them with proof of purchase. I sent them the only invoice that I got from Bud's but since it does not have the gun serial number on the invoice, Taurus will not accept it. Now, my next step it to try to find a way to get an invoice or something from Bud's that shows that I actually bought this serial numbered gun from Bud's a few weeks ago. I will never buy another Taurus or anything from Bud's that I might possibly need post-sale assistance with. John
