Q: Do cerakoted frames hold the color since it's on polymer and not metal ? Does it wear off over time?

A: Like any finish on a steel gun, it will hold to the polymer just as well. But, conditions & use are factors, just like they'd be for any finish. If you're running & gunning on the weekend on courses in inclement weather, it may wear quicker than if you just go to the range?
