This is a great rifle...
This is a great rifle and even takes large capacity mags. If you use lower capacity mags it may not trigger the WOKE because it is not AK.

A: This is not CA legal James. The only difference is the magazine size/capacity that comes in the package. The 5806 has a 5rd magazine and the 5853 has a 20rd magazine(exceeds CA's limit). A: Yes without the 20 round mag it would be NY compliant However I suggest checking with your local FFL as he would be the one doing the paperwork We have been told that buds will ship with NO Magazine if that is the only reason that a gun is non- compliant you would need to Contact Buds customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button and they will help you with the order . A: John, Beside the standard capacity magazine that is prohibited in NY this firearm is NY compliant. BUDs will pull the standard capacity magazine if magazine capacity is only prohibited feature on this firearm. This statement from BUDs: "That is correct. As long as the capacity is the only thing, we can pull the magazine and ship the firearm." BUDs will not replace magazine. You will have to purchase your own limited capacity restricted magazines
