The two sequentially...
The two sequentially numbered (I was pleasantly surprised) Short Stroke SASS Pro 45 revolvers were a little slow being processed and shipped by Bud's considering I paid by direct bank transfer. However once shipped they arrived expeditiously at one of Bud's Favored FFL shop nearby. Guns are beautiful and are very good shooters. Overall I am very pleased with Bud's and will be a repeat customer and would recommend Bud's to anyone.

The winter weather...
The winter weather broke this weekend and I got a chance to take out this pistol. First let me say, I bought the gun from Bud's gun shop and had a great buying experience. I would recommend them to anyone. Fast, quick and GREAT prices. The Taylors SASS Pro .45 colt was nothing short of amazing. This pistol offered all the bells and whistles. The short stroke kit was fast and the sights were quick to pick up when aiming. I put 100 rounds thru it without any problems. I hand loaded 50 rounds of 230 grain lead and picked up some Mag Tec 200 grain cowboy loads. The pistol shot low and left for me. This might be because I'm still learning to shoot single actions. In other reviews, most said it shot at point on aim. I didn't have that luck. The only real problem I had with the pistol was the cylinder pin was real tight to get out after I shot it. This is a great pistol for the money. I looked at other single actions. You can't touch this type of gun for the price. The closest I found is the Standard MFG. Co. They start at $1800.00. I don't think that pistol is worth 3 times the price.
