Springfield Armory SAINT Edge 5.56 NATO Black AR-15 Semi Auto Rifle

I originally purchased this as a range and training gun, to save some wear and tear on my other--far more expensive--AR's. I have a POF, Knight's, and Daniel Defense, so I didn't expect to be particularly impressed with that kind of competition. I have to say that Springfield has done an amazing job at packing a lot of features into their guns for a VERY reasonable price. As any of you reading this likely knows, all the other rifles I mentioned come in at a far higher price point than the Saint, but this little beauty doesn't fall nearly as short as you'd expect. \\r\ \\r\ I like it so much I ended up setting it up for home defense, although I haven't had any opportunities to pair it with a suppressor yet. I have four or five different brands of magazines that I've run with it and it seems to work just fine with all of them so far. I also haven't had any big problems with ammo, even the lower priced range fodder. In fact, I have no real complaints about the gun at all. Aside from changing some of the furniture to suit personal preferences, this is a great gun. I put a vertical grip on it and kept everything else that came with the gun. \\r\ \\r\ So if you're looking for a fantastic entry into the AR market, you won't go wrong with this little beauty. There are certainly lower priced options out there, but you're getting a lot of gun for this price-tag and I have no regrets!
