This was my first...
This was my first Walther PPS M2 LE. The pistol performed as I had hoped and expected. All three magazines fit nicely and ejected easily. I look forward to experimenting with different brands of ammo. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

A: I suggest that you see if a local FFL has these guns in stock so you can handle them as the differences are hard to describe and what I dislike you may love Its all about what gun feels good and makes smile when you shoot it

A: I have just the Walther and XDS but have shot the G43. The Walther is my personal favorite as the gripe settles in my hands naturally without lots of readjustments during shooting. You really should handle all three locally as one may be your best cup - o - tea.

A: Perry, These three handguns are not the same in many regards. I own the PPQ and G43 and have shot the XDS (9mm) as well. The G43 and XDS are closer to each other in size (more or less a subcompact) whereas the PPQ is a larger handgun in the "compact" size range. From the standpoint of the trigger, the PPQ has more or less become the "standard" to compare against. It has a short non-gritty stroke, a crisp break with minimal over-travel and reset distance. By far much it is much superior to the other two brands, The G43 is a typical Glock (albeit smaller than all but the G42). The trigger is O.K., but nothing special. It looks and feels much like other Glock model. With a round extension endplate on the magazine it fits my hand (which is between a medium and small) quite well. The fit and finish is very good, but again nothing exceptional. The Walther has a better finish, fit and feel. The XDS fit and finish is also very good to excellent. As with the Glock, I did not find anything about

A: Walter, it does not have a "Manual Safety", just the built in drop safety and trigger bar safety in the trigger similar to a Glock. It also has a "Loaded Chamber view Port".
Author: James G.
A: it does not have a manual safety just the trigger safety (where something has to press on the trigger for the gun to fire like a Glock) and a drop safety which prevents the gun from firing from the impact of being dropped
Author: Randy I.
A: Walter - it has the best and most important safety feature of all - the shooter's trigger finger. No mechanical safety will ever replace that.

A: Walther this gun has no Manuel safety but as by law will come with physical gun lock. Hope that helps.
