The short barrel is...
The short barrel is handy, and the stock is very sturdy, and it has a nice feel to it. I added a CVA factory radial muzzle brake and factory 10 round magazines. I also installed a Romeo 5 red dot. All of these parts I bought in stock at Bud's Gun Shop. The rifle has great balance with the 10 round magazines and the red dot.

Love this rifle! Very solid build quality and extremely accurate using Hornady 143gr. ELD-X hunting ammunition. With the short barrel, smooth action and great trigger this should be very handy in thick woods, but accurate enough to handle long distance shots. This is my first CVA Cascade and I'm really impressed. I highly recommend CVA Cascade rifles.

Great rifle! Very accurate, mounted a scope, pulled the bolt and bore sighted thru the barrel. Went to shoot with a friend and we had already shot a few rifles at 100 yards that were already sighted in. He asked if I wanted to move target to 25 yards because it had only been bore sighted and I said no just leave at 100 if need be we would move closer. First four shots hit bullseye 3 of the shots were 1/2 Moa with a little flier to make 1 moa four shot group. Next 4 shot basically same thing. Never made a adjustment. This rifle likes Remington core lokts 140 psp if your wondering what ammo to start with. Build quality is great. Feeds and ejects very smooth. This rifle will do what it says it will do 1 moa. Great purchase I love it.
