Just shot my Ruger...
Just shot my Ruger Mini 30 with Belom 7.62 and had no failure to fire. Rifle is by no means a sub MOA but that also may be me. Solid grouping at 100yds. A very fun rifle to shoot. Ruger has improved this rifle immensely. Perfect rifle for the ranch. Buds gave fast shipping.

Questions & Answers
Q: I am considering the purchase of a Ruger Mini 30. I know the bore diameter on a Mini 30 is .308, but all the commercial ammunition available is .310 or even .311. Is this ammunition safe in a mini 30? What about accuracy with these over-sized projectiles?

(4) ANSWERS
A: John, these will not be a problem in the mini 30. You will be surprised at how little accuracy variance you will get as well. I have shot it all in my Mini-30 with no issue whatsoever. I also stocked up on this a long time ago : https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/rifle/7-62x39-123-gr-sst-steel-case#!/

A: it will not be a issue the specs for a 7.62x 39 calls for a .310 +- .002 bullet "Let's talk about bullet diameter for a moment. Since the AK47 variants have been made all over the world, bore diameters are all over the map as well. Some are as small as .308, and some are well over .312 inch. Since the more or less nominal groove diameter for 7.62×39 is .310 inch, and the SAAMI standard for bullet diameter is .310 minus .002, regular .308 bullets meet the spec" Read more: http://www.gunsandammo.com/reloading/reloading-the-7-62x39/#ixzz5Ewszk9ym

Q: What is a good msrp for a ruger mini 30? Is it really worth $1300 plus?
Author: Paul J.
(2) ANSWERS
A: Paul, normally this would be around $849 but with sustained high demand and low supply, prices are well beyond MSRP on a lot of popular firearms. The upward price trend can be seen here : https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/736676058549
Author: James G.
A: NO, $1300 is too much and the usual MSRP is below $900. I hope this helps!

Q: is this NJ compliant?
Author: Scott L.
(3) ANSWERS
A: YES, this is LEGAL in NJ. This has only one restrictive feature, the flash suppressor. You need TWO restrictive features for it to be ILLEGAL in NJ. Also there's 10rd capacity limit in NJ so you need to tell Buds to remove the magazine. Check NJ laws HERE ( https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_jersey_restrictions.pdf ) I hope this helps!
Author: Trin K.
A: no it is not because it has a flash suppressor and a threaded barrel and a 20 round mag The following are prohibited: ✘Semi-automatic rifles that are capable of receiving a detachable magazine and has at least two of the following features: 1. Folding / telescoping stock 2. Pistol grip 3. Bayonet lug 4. Flash suppressor 5. Threaded barrel 6. Grenade launcher 10 round capacity limit https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_jersey_restrictions.pdf This is the one you will need https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/14304/ruger+mini-thirtyp+762x39+sssyn+5806

A: Trim k the barrel is threaded under the flash suppressor it would need to be welded in place
