Q: will this work for a taurus 605?

A: Frank, It should. 605 is 5 round 38 special/357. Only problem is cylinder and spacing on 605 could be larger due to it handling 357. So with the 605 having larger cylinder then the 85 and J frames it probably wouldn't. I don't think it would fit rounds in cylinder correctly.
