No sir it will not. This brake is for .308 and similar size rifles with 5/8X24 threads. You would need a muzzle brake that fits a standard .223 AR-15, with 1/2X28 threads. Something along these lines: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/711020035/phantom+556+smooth+compensator%2fmuzzle+brake+1%2f2-28+threads
sorry it will not fit you could get a adapter to go from the smaller 1/2x28 threads to the 5/8x24 threads but it would look funny and not do anything for you
No, this muzzle break is designed for the ruger precision rifle and has a different thread pattern.
Nick, you actually can with a 5/8×24 to 1/2×28 adapter. The "Con" is that A .22Cal fired through a .30Cal Muzzle Brake of approximately the same size and design is not going to be as effective as one fired through a dedicated .22Cal Muzzle Brake . However, the difference is generally pretty minimal. (https://hughesprecision.com/product/12-28-to-58-24-stainless-steel-barrel-thread-converter-made-by-hughes-precision/)
