Gary, a folding stock can be added, but you will need this SMG Folding Stock End Plate - lwrci.com/SMG-Folding-Stock-End-Plate_p_383.html Be aware, this will turn your pistol into a SBR and require a $200 tax stamp and registration with the ATF. Stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Gary and welcome. A folding stock can be added. Required adapter here : https://www.lwrci.com/SMG-Folding-Stock-End-Plate_p_383.html - You will need to Submit an ATF e-Form 1 or paper Form 1 to register the firearm as a short-barreled rifle under the NFA and pay a $200 Tax Stamp. -- Details here: https://www.nationalguntrusts.com/blogs/nfa-gun-trust-atf-information-database-blog/steps-to-apply-for-an-sbr-sbs-with-a-atf-form-1
Gary, yes sir, you sure can. As others have mentioned adding a stock to a pistol reclassifies it from a pistol to a sbr/short barreled rifle. So before you can actually install the stock you would have to register it with the ATF and pay a $200 tax stamp, do alot of paperwork/finger prints and then it's normally a 6 month to year waiting period for the ATF to approve it. The ATF makes you jump threw hoops to add a stock to a pistol and now with Bidens atf even adding a pistol brace to a pistol requires the same $200 tax stamp. So yes you can add a stock just alot of red tape. If interested here's a link to the adapter necessary to add one.
