Double tap ammo as always been to me a great go to ammo for the range. It is consistently reliable and very accurate out of my Colt Python. I highly recommend this ammo.

Dangerous Ammunition!...

Dangerous Ammunition! It caused my recovery to fail! I purchased these wadcutters along with a variety of others to test which would be the most accurate out of my 2" revolver. All was going well until I loaded up the Double Tap wadcutters. The ammo was extremely dirty (and I have shot some pretty terrible ammo before). This was the first time I ever had a gun of any kind put up a smoke screen in front of me. After 5 shots the cylinder refused to lock into place. Thisnhapoened because so much soot was expended from the casing that it clogged the rotating mechanism. I was able to unload the gun and cycle the cylinder few times and it was working again. I then shot two cylinders out of a larger 4 inch revolver. It dod not jam and the longer barrel helped propel the soot forward bit it was still very dirty. Note: every round had notably different levels of felt recoil. With some feeling like a standard 38spl and other like a 22 with absolutely zero recoil. I do not recomend this ammo. But Buds did a good job at getting it here quick.

38 Special Wadcutters...

38 Special Wadcutters are extremely hard to find, but Bud's had them at a decent price and quick delivery. They shoot well in my custom Colt 1911, are accurate and I hand no ejection problems.
