I'm very impressed...
I'm very impressed with the consistency of this cartridge at the range. For a bullet that is priced much lower than many others, I'm regularly shooting cloverleafs at 100 yds and sub 2" groups at 200. I'm impressed

Questions & Answers
Q: I'm looking for ammo that I can shoot in my 1940 something M1 Garand that won't damage my rifle. Are these safe to shoot in my M1 Garand or are they to hot of a round? I just don't want to damage my gun or myself. Thank You!

A: What is Winchester extreme point? The Extreme Point bullet features an oversized impact diameter. The larger impact diameter means more impact trauma, better energy transfer and larger wound cavities for faster knockdown. https://winchester.com › Rifle › Dee... Deer Season XP | Winchester Hunting Ammunition. Going off of this, which you can read more at Winchester. Com, I'm inclined to think these will be fine and not too hot a round for your rifle.

A: Nelson, Sellier and Bellot makes an M1 Garand specific load that I highly recommend. You should read this critical article (most modern loads use powders that create too high of an initial pressure spike for the older M1's with the same weight/grain bullet) : https://gundigest.com/gear-ammo/ammunition/m1-garand-ammo ------------ And then check this ammunition offering (for smaller quantity) for your M1 (the recoil rod is the potential damage point) : -- https://tacticoolammoshop.com/product/sellier-bellot-ammunition-30-06-springfield-m1-garand-150-grain-full-metal-jacket-500-rounds/
