The first case arrived...
The first case arrived with a chipped inside lip/edge that could not have come from shipping. The plastic walls of the case are a little on the thin side and I would not trust this case to carry a valuable rifle or shotgun. The latches barely catch and the egg carton foam is cut thin, so when I closed and locked the case, my separated scope still slid into the rifle when I picked up the case by the handle. I could actually hear them "clang" together. Thin walled plastic is not such a problem in a pistol case; but, with a long rifle case you need something more rigid, especially considering the weight of two rifles. So, no, I cannot recommend this case. I tried to contact Plano; but, was placed on hold for a long time and then asked to leave a message and they will call you back. As usual, Bud's was good about replacement (glad I bought the shipping insurance).
