Excellent quality...

Excellent quality lower in my opinion and it favors comparably with other stripped lowers I have purchased. The lower came with the proprietary parts for the ambidextrous bolt and magazine release for use with the lower parts kit of your choice. It took me a while to figure out how to install the ambidextrous components but once I did installation was relatively simple. The only part from a standard lower parts kit not used is the short bolt catch detent pin which is replaced with a longer pin that is part of the provided Primary Weapons System lower. Also, they provided a receiver tensioning screw, "this part has a nub at one end and threads up through the grip tang to provide positive pressure to the lower edge of the rear upper receiver take down pin boss and reduce/eliminate play between upper and lower receiver sets; this helps with the "wobble" often seen between AR15 receiver sets. The nub is spring loaded and pushes against the bottom of the boss to keep pressure in place and avoid the use of such products as an Accuwedge or other similar items". Please note the picture used to reference the lower is misleading as you will not need to purchase a trigger guard as one is provided already on the lower. Overall I would not hesitate to purchase the Primary Weapons System MK1 Lower and honestly will probably purchase another one for an AR Pistol build.
