I put this on my 3"...
I put this on my 3" barrel .357 Ruger SP-101, and it works well. This is a very useful upgrade from the OEM black front ramp sight. It is particularly important if you plan to carry your SP-101 as a defensive weapon and/or use it as a nightstand home defense handgun. In low light conditions it is very bright and easy to pick up. Highly recommend.
