I bought 2 sets of...

I bought 2 sets of these sights based on positive reviews and videos I'd seen on YouTube. One set was for a pistol I'd bought and left with stock Glock sights for 20 years and the second set was for a new pistol. I've got to say, these were a great investment. I'd been shooting stock Glock sights for 20 years, and am quite proficient with them. With the new Trijicon HD's, I've found that front sight acquisition is much faster and more consistent. I think this is primarily because of the all black rear sight, combined with the bright front sight. I'd never really thought one way or the other about the stock Glock sights, I just used them. I started shopping for sights primarily for low light capabilities, but these have improved my daytime capabilities as well. I chose Trijicon because I wanted a robust sight, that I felt I could trust. I installed the sights myself. It was very easy to do with the proper tools. Personally, I used a dial caliper to center the rear sight and make sure the front sight was straight. The results were perfect and show in my shot placement. If you do your own install, don't trust the YouTube video guys who do it by eye. I think I got my sights on better than Glock did with the originals. \r \r Long story, short — I would highly recommend these sights, especially over stock Glock sights. Daytime shooting is great. Low light sight acquisition is much improved.
