The Apex Tactical Specialties Forward Set Sear and Trigger Kit is a drop-in replacement for the factory hinged trigger on Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 pistols, engineered to reduce pre-travel and over-travel for a smoother, more consistent pull. The kit replaces the factory trigger with a solid aluminum, flat-faced unit and uses a center-mounted pivoting safety to maintain factory safety values. Shorter over-travel and a shortened reset help deliver improved follow-up performance for a top-end service pistol setup.

I installed this in a...
I installed this in a new M&P full size 9mm and I couldn't be happier with the results. The installation was pretty easy with help from the internet. Anyone who does some of their own home gunsmithing should be able to do it. I now have a much better take up, break and over travel than with the factory trigger. I also added a heavier striker spring to increase ignition reliability and with the lightest setup the trigger breaks clean at under 3 pounds. The best trigger I have ever personally felt on a striker fired pistol. It's still not a 1911 trigger but it's very close.

Great trigger! Crisp and to the point, with a nice easy reset. I find with the heavier trigger spring that the reset is more tactile and audible.
