The Earshield is both...
The Earshield is both comfortable and convenient. I just throw it in my range bag and it works perfectly. It is not as cumbersome as "ear muff" type hearing protectors are.

These do not fit very...
These do not fit very snuggly into the ear canals to block the sound. They do not have interchangeable ear pieces, so they assume that one size fits all. My headphone/earmuff style ear protection muffles the sound a lot better. I had to stop using these or go deaf. Ear plugs work better and cost less.
