The Streamlight TLR-6 Rail Universal Kit for SA XD subcompact handguns combines a 100 lumen C4 LED with a long-range red laser (640-660nm). It attaches to the trigger guard and provides ambidextrous control, regulated illumination, and quick laser zero retention using windage and elevation adjustments.

This seems like a nice...
This seems like a nice little light. It is bright and illuminates a fairly wide path as well. The laser is a nice addition to the light, but glad that this has 3 functions so you can turn off and keep on what you want. My only concern is that you completely lose any grip support on front of trigger for secondary hand, which is my "natural" grip position. This is probably true for any light of this sort, but keep that in mind.

Picked this up because...
Picked this up because I figured the most likely time I would need a gun would be a low or no light scenario and I absolutely love this little unit. Have fired hundreds of rounds with this attached to my xdm 3.8 compact in 9mm. Held zero and stayed secured to the gun with no signs of budging. Laser is bright and easy to pick up day or night. Light is bright enough to blind in low or no light and most importantly show you what you're shooting at! I love night sightssights but if you can't see your target why do you need to see your sights!? Not to mention a laser is tremendous training aid and gives you an advantage when you may be firing for your life (possibly wounded or with your offhand too) Plus it's a lot of fun when just plinking. So don't let armchair tacticians make you feel any sort of way about the idea of a laser because it's a good one. Highly recommended for home defense or ccw pistols.
