Q: I am looking for a 380 ACP magazine to fit a 1908 colt, that has a finger rest. My hands are too big to have my pinky fit on the regular grip. Could I use an 7 round magazine with a finger grip and trim the back edge of the finger grip so that the magazine release could still catch it in the normal fashion?

(1) ANSWER
A: Hi Jonathan and welcome. Unfortunately, this magazine won't work. You may have to try some similar .380 magazine floorplates with the built in finger rest . Or you could experiment with epoxying to the current magazine's bottom, an extension fashioned out of rubber or plastic (trimmed to fit). Cheers and stay safe!
