I have purchased several Chip mags over the last few years and have never had an issue with any of them. The follower is a little different than most but never a feed or empty mag eject issue.

A: No, you need full sized/government sized 1911 magazines. This is a officers sized Wich is too short therefore won't fit. Hope this helps.

Any one of these terms can indicate a shorter magazine that is not suitable for a Full-size 1911.
