A: Pedro, No this magazine will not fit a 45 ACP 1911 handgun. This is a magazine for a Thompson, Auto Ordinance 45 ACP machine gun or the same style 45 ACP semi-auto pistol caliber carbine. There are different models/years of the Thompson machine gun that this magazine is dedicated to.

A: Pedro - this is not a 1911 magazine, and will not fit a 1911. And stay away from the ProMag 15 round 1911 magazine - they do not work well. Get yourself some 10 round magazines from Wilson Combat or Chip McCormick if you want large capacity magazines for your 1911.

A: Dwayne, yes Sir. No issue with fit in any of the AO Thompson's. There are only a couple that won't accept a drum.
