The Magpul Bolt Action Magazine Well for the Hunter 700L Standard Stock is a drop-in, detachable box magazine solution built around long action AICS-pattern magazines for the .30-06 Springfield family of cartridges. It features a low-profile, anti-snag ambidextrous magazine release and a Melonite treated steel magazine well for improved wear and corrosion resistance. The kit also includes one Magpul PMAG 5 AC L (Standard) magazine for .30-06 based long action AICS-pattern compatibility.

I bought this Magpul Bolt Action mag well from Buds Guns to upgrade the Magpul Hunter LA I bought for my Remington 700 ADL. They made it so easy and my purchase arrived in no time at all. The whole setup went together so smooth and feels so right. Can't wait to get out there and shoot it.

Very well made....
Very well made. Magazine fits smoothly and is retained very well. The mag release spring is STRONG might be too strong for some but ensures your magazine release won't be bumped while on the trail or during a hunt and cause the magazine to unexpectedly get lost. I used this as detachable bottom metal (DBM) (no it's not metal, it's polymer) for a ramline Rem700 stock. Only took me about ten minutes to inlet the stock correctly for this to fit. It's a VASTLY cheaper alternative than some of the other (DBM) out there and accepts the common AICS mags as well. Great bang for your buck.
