Q: How is the fitment of this Magazine in the Springfield Saint Victor 308? Is it tight, is it loose, does it latch securely, does it freely eject when released? I know I am a fossil but all my riffles are with steel magazines, except for the ones that came with weapon when purchased, I learned firing automatic weapons with steel magazines and it was carved into my mind that "THEY WORK". It might be time to try a change. Thanks for any info. As always God and Country. Semper Fidelis

(2) ANSWERS
A: Hi Maurice and welcome. The M3 Magazines will be slightly sticky when empty but will drop free. They won't drop free with the vigor of Metal Magazines since the plastic mags are slightly thicker for the sake of strength. Cheers and stay safe Sir!
Author: James G.
A: The polymer plastic mags will have a firm fitment but will function as one would expect. I just watched a comparison video on YouTube which was interesting. Both steel & polymer functioned/fit as intended but then there was the torture testing! Check out a video for yourself, you'll appreciate it.

Q: Excuse my ignorance, but will these mags work on a AR15
Author: Bruce P.
(3) ANSWERS
A: Most AR 15s are 223/5.56 nato calibers these will not work on them they do work on AR 15 style firearms chambered for 308/&,63 nato usually call AR10s
Author: Randy I.
A: Hi Bruce and welcome. Not AR 15's which are usually chambered in 5.56 or .223. AR 10's are usually the .308 versions of the AR series rifle. If you have a standard AR rifle chambered in .5.56/.223 you need this mag : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/1160/magpul+p-mag+ar-15+30+round+black+w+window+gen+m2 -------------------- If you have an AR rifle in .308 then the above magazine will fit. cheer, stay safe and enjoy!
Author: James G.
A: Hi Bruce and welcome. If you AR15 is chambered for .308/7.62 then yes it will work. Stay safe & have a great day!

Q: Will this magazine work in my Springfield Socom 16?
Author: Marcelo M.
(1) ANSWER
A: No, AR-10 pattern magazines are not compatible with the M1A and it's derived models and Magpul does not make any M1A type magazines. A selection of what Buds' sells that would work are here: https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/type/gun+magazines/q/m1a
