Firearm:...
Firearm: 1964-manufactured Walther PPK Pros: * Way cheaper than factory mags * I like the pinky extension. I believe there's a flush version if you prefer that. Cons: * Numerous feed issues with rounds not fully going into chamber. This is always with the first round only. I've found that if I manually load a round into the chamber, and then insert a full mag, I have no issues when the weapon fires and cycles the first round out of the mag. It's only happening while racking the first round in. I've tried some aftermarket Wolf springs of various weights and have found the 17lb to work a bit more reliably, but the issue seems to be either with the mags or with the gun (but this doesn't seem to occur with the original mag or a factory mag recently purchased). Gun is cleaned & oiled and otherwise in good operating condition. I may look into some polishing of the feed ramp to see if it improves but for now I don't trust this gun with these mags as a primary weapon, so it's in the safe for now. :-(
