just had the chance to...

just had the chance to take these for a spin (thanks 9mm drought) and I feel they are well worth the price.\\r\ \\r\ some pros they have over the factory mags is a view window at 15 rounds in addition to 5/10/17.\\r\ they fit a lot tighter.\\r\ the springs are much stronger.\\r\ the back of the feed lip is made so the round doesn't over hang out of the back so reloads have less to go wrong than the factory mags.\\r\ Follower tilts a lot less than the factory mags so if you drop a full mag it doesn't shuffle your bullets as much.\\r\ half the price and higher quality overall than factory mags\\r\ \\r\ couple downsides, the mags don't have the cut for the older models with the mag catch on the bottom.\\r\ black follower is harder to see.\\r\ plastic base plates. although they do give you a nice pinky purchase though with the overhang.\\r\ if you have to take the mag apart getting the base plate lock to sit properly is harder than with the factory mag because of a different nub shape.\\r\ \\r\ I would recommend this to anyone needing Taurus mags. and if you have a dremel they would work nice in your mil-surp Beretta reader of the future.
