The proprietary Ruger...
The proprietary Ruger mini 14 magazines are excellent, sturdy, perfect functioning. I see no good reason to take a chance on any other brand just to MAYBE save a couple bucks! Ammo prices are OK, I especially like the Rio Royal #1 Buck 20 gauge!! Now my "go-to". Bud's has the good products, prices and quick shipping! I initially found the website a little wonky to navigate but a few times around the block, it's OK! Thanks, Bud's!

I've had problems with...
I've had problems with every other brand magazine for my mini-14. Never again. Ruger factory mags run flawlessly and are darn tough. Highly recommend

A: The Ruger Mini 14 uses a proprietary 10, 20, and 30 round magazine that's similar in construction to an M14 magazine only smaller and curved. They will only fit in Mini 14's and are considerably more expensive then AR15 mags!
