A: Scott, These magazines are Sig OEM magazines, not MecGar. See following: Sig says they work best in the older P229 his is an OEM Sig Sauer P229 9mm magazine. These are made for the older P229 9mm's with the more narrow magazine well (those guns usually shipped with 13 round magazines and are mostly older German P229's). These may work in newer "E2" pistols that shipped with 15rd magazines, but we suggest not doing so as they may not be totally reliable. A: Yes it will fit your M11-A1. The M11 is based on the P229 and not a true 228.
