Does what it is...
Does what it is suppose to: move your scope forward. Unfortunately, the height is way out of whack for normal target shooting with the flat-stocked AR platform. You can't even get your rifle bore sighted with this mount because of the extreme height above the bore axis. As an old rifleman, this is totally against all the trigonometry formulations for superior ballistic performance at normal ranges. I don't want to have to buy a $250 adjustable stock just to use this mount on my target rifle. Cheek weld is paramount, so I mounted a Blackhawk leather pad I had on another rifle. It's unusable because of the AR style operation handle location. Never again. Three stars for Burris and their engineers, five to Bud's for cutting way below everybody's price and a quick delivery.
