Great running 1911 in...
Great running 1911 in 9mm. Auot Ordnance 1911's have that simple GI look and are reliable right out-of-the-box. I have their 45 and 9MM versions now and they are the best running 1911's I have; better than the Colts and Springfields I purchased.

This Auto Ordnance 1911BKO9 is a well built and great shooting pistol. I have owned several 1911s and this pistol is as solid as some of the more expensive models. I can now shoot the cheaper 9mm ammo more often with the same great feeling as the higher priced 45 ammo.

Q: Any recommendations for a mil spec 1911

A: this gun is a series 80 with the firing pin block safety for a true mil-spec gun it would need to be a 45 acp as there are no Mil specs for a 9mm 19111 it does not get any more Mill spec that this colt series 70 45 acp it even has the mil spec sights https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/415007813/colt+1911c+govt+45acp+5+b
